HM the King Makes Humanitarian Donation Benefiting South Sudan’s Population

PERSISMA, Juba – HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, made, on Thursday in Juba, an important humanitarian donation for the benefit of the population of this country of East Africa.

The royal donation offered by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sustainable Development, and which is part of the active solidarity of Morocco with brotherly countries of the African continent, consists of 267,5 tons of different foodstuffs.

 

It also includes 70 tons of tents, 10 tons of blankets and 10 tons of cooking equipment benefiting the South Sudanese displaced persons.

Upon their arrival, HM the King and the President of South Sudan were greeted by the director general of the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency, the deputy chairman and the volunteer members of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sustainable Development.
