HM The King Enquires About Progress Of Social Housing Programme In Great Casablanca Region

PERSISMA, Casablanca, Dec. 20 – HM King Mohammed VI enquired, on Tuesday in Casablanca, about the progress of the integrated social housing programme in the Great Casablanca region, worth 35.4 billion dirhams.

– The programme consists of 85 operations aimed at building 97,078 social housing units

– HM the King inaugurates social housing project “Ryad Al Oulfa”, worth 120 million dirhams

 

The programme consists of 85 integrated operations to build 127,863 housing units, including 97,078 social housing units (25,000 dirhams per unit).

Social housing operations, which will be carried out on 666 hectares, will enable to create 104,000 jobs. A total of 7,646 social housing units were already built and delivered.

HM the King then inaugurated the real estate project “Ryad Al Oulfa”, which consists of 543 housing units, worth 120 million dirhams, built as part of the integrated social housing programme in the Great Casablanca region,.

The project, which was carried out on a surface area of 2.36 hectares, consists of building four-floor buildings, as well as a day nursery on 280 square metres.

The Monarch, who visited a flat built as part of the project, handed title deeds to the first beneficiaries of this project, which falls within the scope of an integrated social housing programme to build 9,800 social housing units, worth 3.8 billion dirhams.

The programme wil be carried out on 110 hectares, and is expected to create 6,500 jobs yearly.
