Morocco to Celebrate Eid Al-Adha on September 12

PERSISMA, Rabat – Morocco will celebrate Eid Al Adha (the Festival of Sacrifice) on September 12th, which coincides with the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhu Hijja, the ministry of the Habous (Religious endowments) and Islamic Affairs said.

Saturday, September 3rd, marks the first day of Dhu Hijja, said the same source which supervises the viewing of the crescent nationwide.

Eid Al Adha signals the completion of the Hajj (pilgrimage), the fifth pillar of Islam.
