All types of vulnerabilities are concentrated in Africa, said HM the King. “I suggest that we build an African continent that is resilient to climate change and that commits resolutely to sustainable development,” he added.
The Sovereign stressed the importance for the African country to speak with one voice, demand climate justice as well as mobilize the necessary resources and submit concerted proposals in connection with the fight against climate change.
The Africa Action Summit is an opportunity for African countries to develop a common vision regarding funding and technology transfer.
This high-level meeting is attended by heads of state, government and delegations from 50 African countries.
