PERSISMA, Rabat – HM King Mohammed VI called on Friday, the Board of Education, Training and Scientific Research to reconsider the vision and content of the reform of the education sector and education. “We urge the Board of Education, Training and Scientific Research to reconsider the vision and content of the reform, and the approaches taken in the matter,” said the Sovereign in a speech to the opening of the first session of the fourth legislative year of the 9th Parliament.

HM the King pointed out, in this sense, it is imperative to address the substantive issues identified in the royal speech of 20 August last year.

In the same vein, the Sovereign cited specifically looking for a solution to the problem of teaching languages, overcoming ideological differences that impede reform and the adoption of programs and curricula adapted to the requirements development and labor market.

HM the King also found it necessary to attach due attention to vocational training and proficiency in foreign languages ​​to enable the winners to be attuned to technical progress and to integrate the new businesses in Morocco.

The sovereign recalled having attached the greatest importance to the training and qualification of a proud citizen of identity and open to universal values, including through further reform of the education and training system.

HM the King expressed the hope that the work done by the Council for the Evaluation of the Charter of Education and Training, the broad national dialogue and regional meetings culminated in the formulation of specific recommendations to reform the Moroccan school and increase performance.

In view of the development by the Council of a clear roadmap, HM the King has called on concerned to continue their reform programs departments “without interruption or delay.”

The Sovereign has finally seized the occasion of the celebration of National Women’s Day, celebrated on October 10 – when HM King announced in 2003 the Family Code – to express his opinion to Moroccan women, where it is, and regardless of the different positions and it occupies all categories from which it originated, inside and outside of Morocco, and in recognition of its effective participation in the development of the country .
