HM The King, Commander of The Faithful, and the Malian President perform Friday Prayer at Grand Mosque of Bamako

PERSISMA, Bamako – HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the faithful, and Malian President Ibrahim Boubakar Keita, performed Friday prayer at Grand Mosque of Bamako.

After the prayer, HM the King, commander of the Faithful, presented the Malian president with a copy of the holy Koran (Moushaf Al-Mohammadi acharif).

Were present during this religious service members of the Malian government, Mali’s senior figures, representatives of the Tijania and Qadiria confraternities, Malian Ulema and theologians and members of the official delegation accompanying the sovereign in his visit to Mali.

HM the King took part on Thursday in the inauguration ceremony of the new Malian president.
