HRH Princess Lalla Salma Launches Breast Cancer Screening Awareness-Raising Campaign in Rabat
PERSISMA, Rabat – HRH Princess Lalla Salma, chairwoman of the Lalla Salma Foundation for Cancer Prevention and Treatment, launched, on Tuesday in Rabat, the awareness-raising campaign for breast cancer screening, on the occasion of the national day against cancer.
Upon her arrival at the site, HRH Princess Lalla Salma reviewed a detachment of the Auxiliary Forces that made the honors her before being greeted by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, the president of the regional council of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, the president of the prefectural council of Rabat, the president of the commune council of Rabat, the Director General of the Lalla Salma Foundation for Cancer Prevention and Treatment and members of the board of the Foundation.
On the occasion of the launch by HRH Princess Lalla Salma of the national awareness-raising campaign for breast cancer screening, the wall of the Bab Zaers gate was illuminated.
This awareness-raising campaign, which will run from November 22 through December 11, under the theme “early detection saves lives”, aims to touch one million women aged between 40 and 69.
