PERSISMA, Rabat – King Mohammed VI will take part, on April 20 in Riyadh, in the Morocco-GCC Summit, and will subsequently pay fraternity and working visits to several countries of the region, the Ministry of Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery said Monday.

This summit, the first of its kind, will give new impetus to multidimensional strategic partnership between Morocco and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the ministry underlined in a statement.

It will also be an opportunity for consultation and coordination of positions to take up the challenges and threats facing the Arab region, exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest and develop common positions on this subject, especially within this delicate regional and international context.

At the end of the summit the King will pay fraternity and working visits to several countries of the region.
