Lower House Speaker holds talks with Head of Chilean Parliamentary Committee
PERSISMA, Rabat – Lower House Speaker, Abdelwahed Radi, held on Friday in Rabat, talks with Head of the family commission at the Chilean Parliament, Monica Zalaket on the bilateral parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, Zalaket reiterated her country’s position in support of Morocco’s autonomy plan for the Sahara, describing it as “ serious and credible” , a statement of the Lower House said.
The Chilean MP voiced hope to see Morocco’s autonomy initiative lead to a lasting settlement of the Sahara conflict.
She also commended the constitutional reforms, which was adopted by an overwhelming majority following a referendum.
