PERSISMA, Rabat – President of the Pan-African Parliament, Roger Nkodo Dang, expressed on Saturday in Addis Ababa his support for the return of Morocco to the African Union (AU), noting that the kingdom’s return adds value to the action of the continental organization.

“Morocco is an African country. Its return to the organization he created adds value so that we can discuss altogether common African issues,” Nkodo Dang told reporters on the sidelines of the 28th African Union summit.

President of the Pan-African Parliament stressed that the return of Morocco will strengthen efforts made within the framework of the new approach aimed at finding African solutions for African problems.

The 28th African Union summit will be run until January 31 in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.
