Emir of Qatar Offers Official Ceremonial Welcome in Honour of HM the King
PERSISMA – Emir of the State of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani offered, Sunday at the “Emiri Diwan” in Doha, an official ceremonial welcome in honour of HM King Mohammed VI, who is on an official visit to the country, accompanied by HH Prince Moulay Ismail.
At their arrival at the Emiri Diwan, the sovereign and HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani headed for the VIP stand to salute the national flags wile the two countries’ anthems were playing, and reviewed a detachment of the Guard of Honour.
Afterwards, HM the King was greeted by several officials from Qatar, notably Deputy Emir of Qatar HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar’s foreign minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, chairman of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani, Chief of the Emiri Court Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Al Thani and Qatar’s ambassador in Rabat Abdullah Ben Falah Ben Abdullah Al Dawssari.
For his part, HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani was greeted by the official delegation accompanying HM the King during this visit and made up notably of HM the King’s advisors Fouad Ali El Himma, Yassir Znagui and Abdellatif Menouni, and foreign minister Nasser Bourita.
HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HH Prince Moulay Ismail, arrived Sunday in Doha for an official visit to the State of Qatar.
