Princely Wedding: HM the King presides over the ceremony of “La Berza”

PERSISMA, Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, presided, on Friday night at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the ceremony of “La Berza” during which HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and his wife showed officially a couple, according to the most authentic Moroccan tradition ritual in front of their families and their distinguished guests.

This ceremony crown two days of festivities whose highlight was the impressive procession of “La Hdiya” (offering), celebrated late Thursday afternoon and during which the delegations of the 16 regions of Morocco exhibited the best of their traditions and their demonstrations of joy, in an authentic charm made of colors and sounds reflecting the richness and diversity of Moroccan culture.

Thursday evening, the guests found themselves inside the Royal Palace for the traditional henna ceremony, an important ritual in the celebration of marriage in Morocco.
