French President arrives in Morocco

PERSISMA, Casablanca – French president François Hollande and Mrs Valérie Trierweiler arrived to Casablanca this Wednesday afternoon on an official visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI.

At the Casablanca Mohammed V international airport, the French head of state and Mrs Trierweiler were welcomed by HM King Mohammed VI who was accompanied by HRH crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid.

The French head of state and Mrs Trierweiler were then invited to the traditional milk and dates ceremony, before heading to “Lemaigre Dubreuil” square in Casablanca where the Sovereign’s host will receive a popular welcome.

During this visit, HM the King will hold official talks with Mr. Hollande and host, at the Royal Palace in Casablanca, an official dinner in honor of the President, Mrs Trierweiler and the official delegation accompanying them.
