HM the King Arrives in Elysee Palace to Take Part in International Ceremony in Commemoration of Centenary of Armistice

PERSISMA, Paris – HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, arrived, Sunday morning, in the Elysee Palace to take part in the International Ceremony in Commemoration of Centenary of Armistice dated Nov. 11, 1918.

At his arrival at the palace, the monarch was greeted by French president Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron.

This ceremony, attended by several heads of state and government of the warring countries of the Great War, representatives of European institutions, the United Nations and several other international organizations, will take place at the Arc de Triomphe.

This event offers the opportunity to remember the sacrifices of all the fighters of the Great War and pay tribute to all those who fought for the ideals of peace, reconciliation and understanding.
