HM the King Leaves for Ethiopia

PERSISMA, Casablanca – HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HH Prince Moulay Ismail, left on Friday afternoon the Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport heading for the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

Upon His departure from the Mohammed V International Airport, HM the King reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard that paid the honors and was seen off by Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane and the Interior Minister Mohamed Hassad.

 

The Sovereign was also seen off by Major General Abdelfatah Louarak, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Hosni Benslimane, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, Brigadier General El Abed Bouhamid Alaoui, Inspector of the Royal Air Forces, Rear Admiral Mustapha Alami, Inspector of the Royal Navy and Brigadier General Mustapha Mestour, Inspector of the Auxiliary Forces (Northern Zone).

Subsequently, HM the King was seen off by Director General of the national police and the territory surveillance directorate Abdellatif Hammouchi, Ambassador of the Republic of Ethiopia to Morocco, Mrs. Yeshi Tamrat Bitew, Wali of the Casablanca-Settat Region, Khalid Safir, elected representatives and representatives of local authorities.

HM the King is accompanied during this visit by an official delegation composed in particular of the sovereign’s Advisor, Fouad Ali El Himma, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, and other civil and military figures.
