Official Welcome Ceremony in Accra for HM the King

PERSISMA, Accra – The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, offered on Friday an official welcome ceremony in honor of HM King Mohammed VI at the presidential palace in Accra.

Upon his arrival at the presidential palace, HM the King headed for the VIP stand to salute the national Moroccan and Ghanaian flags while the anthems of the two countries were playing. A 21-gun salute was fired to welcome HM the King.

The sovereign reviewed afterwards a detachment of the Guard of Honor.

 

At the entry of the presidential palace, HM the King was welcomed by president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.

During this visit, HM the King is accompanied by an official delegation including mainly HM the King’s advisor Fouad Ali El Himma.

The delegation also includes foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar, economy minister Mohamed Boussaid, housing minister Nabil Benabdellah, agriculture minister Aziz Akhannouch, interim tourism minister, minister of industry Moulay Hafid Alami, interim energy minister, health minister Lhossine El Ouardi, minister delegate for foreign affairs Nasser Bourita, as well as several civil and military figures.
