HM The King Orders Cancellation Of His Anniversary Festivities Following Death Of HRH Princess Lalla Fatima Zahra

PERSISMA, Rabat – HM King Mohammed VI decided to cancel all the celebrations and festivities marking his birthday following the death of HRH Princess Lalla Fatima Zahra in consideration of the place of the late Princess in the hearts of all members of the Royal family and the Moroccan people, Ministry of Royal household, Protocol and Chancellery announced on Tuesday.

“Following great hardships suffered by the loss of HRH Princess Lalla Fatima Zahra, May Allah rest her soul, aunt of HM King Mohammed VI and daughter of HM late King Mohammed V, the Sovereign decided to cancel all ceremonies and festivities marking his birthday in consideration of the place of the late Princess in the hearts of all members of the Royal family and the Moroccan people”, said the ministry.
