Nigerian President Arrives in Morocco for Official Working and Friendship Visit
PERSISMA, Salé – President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Muhammadu Buhari, arrived on Sunday in Morocco for an official working and friendship visit at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI.
Upon his arrival at the Rabat-Salé airport, the Nigerian President was welcomed by HM the King, who was accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid.
Afterwards, HM the King and his distinguished guest reviewed a detachment of the Royal Guard. The Nigerian President was then invited to the traditional offering of milk and dates.
After a short break at the airport’s Royal Lounge, the procession of the two leaders headed for the Mechouar square at the Rabat Royal Palace where an official welcoming ceremony will be given to the Nigerian President.
