HM King Mohammed VI Appoints Omar Azziman President Of Education, Training, Scientific Research Higher Council

PERSISMA, Casablanca, July 16th, 2014 – HM King Mohammed VI received, Wednesday at the Casablanca Royal Palace, Omar Azziman that the Sovereign appointed as President of the Higher Council of Education, Training and Scientific Research, the King’s Office announced.

This appointment is part of the implementation of the High Royal guidelines contained in the speech of August 20th, 2013, notably those relating to the vital reform of the sector of education, training and scientific research in our country, the King’s Office said in a statement.

It also comes following the promulgation of the new law on the organization of the Higher Council of Education, Training and Scientific Research, which has consolidated its plural composition, its autonomy and advisory missions, as a constitutional institution representing a force of bringing forward proposals and a mechanism for evaluating, monitoring and exploring the fields of reform and qualification of the Moroccan school, the same source added
