IDB Chairman commends HM the King’s reforms

PERSISMA, Washington – Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Ahmed Mohamed Ali Al Madani, commended the reforms undertaken in Morocco under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.

The IDB “is following with great interest the economic and other reforms undertaken in Morocco,” he told MAP, on the sidelines of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual assemblies, which are taking place since Thursday in Washington.

These reforms, he went on, will have a “great impact” on Morocco’s development and progress.

Al Madani also said that the Islamic financial institution “is proud of its close cooperation with Morocco,” adding that the “IDB will be always an efficient partner in all development initiatives initiated in the Kingdom.”
